Basic Information

Description of the Organization

The Reuben H. Fleet Science Center is a non-profit entity which seeks to inspire life-long learning by furthering the public's understanding and enjoyment of science and technology. The Fleet would like to have HDP 191 students perform exhibit or program evaluations. This would involve designing surveys, conducting visitor research, reading, and interpreting results.

Children, adults, seniors, school groups, families, and individuals.

Research Availability

Monday thru Sunday from 10:00 am to 5:00 pm.  We are willing to work around your schedule.

Orientation Requirement

Please schedule an orientation with your site mentor prior to your first visit.

Dress Code

Please be neatly dressed.

Test Requirements

A letter of clearance from the HDP Field Research Coordinator (Christina Knerr).  Fluency in English and Spanish would be optimal but it is not required.  It is also helpful to be outgoing and friendly and please be prompt and business-like.

Check-in Procedure

Check in at reception for initial meetings.  Afterwards an ID badge will be issued to allow access during hours of operation.
